Our client, a major mining Contractor require a soon to graduate or a recent graduate with, preferably, a civil or mining degree to join their close knit team.  Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be predominantly based onsite at their Blackwater operations.  The role will also rotate out of the Brisbane corporate office and Werris Creek operations.  The mine has around 300 employees and has recently been acquired by John Holland.  This opportunity represents the ideal chance to practice your engineering in a hands-on and realistic role. This will be within a framework of being mentored by experienced and practical common sense engineers who get the job done, solve the problems and move on.

The role involves a broad spectrum of challenges and exposure. This includes being involved to the planning, scheduling, working within multi-disciplinary teams, contracts, maintenance, safety, working with sub-contractors, environmental and geological considerations etc and offers a sound career path for outstanding applicants.
